I was assigned to create an educational game using GameMaker that could be controlled using Sheffeild Hallam Universitys SmartFloor.
The SmartFloor is an interactive floor with pressure sensative panals that can detect weight. The game can be projected on the screen and the floor.
I decided to create a simple platform spelling game for children. The player would control the character with the SmartFloor to collect letters to spell the correct word.
The game was designed to make learning fun and engage kids to commit the words to memory while playing the game.
